If you own a late model GM, you've probably had the issue where your key just wont come out of the ignition. It's frustrating! If your key is not coming out of the ignition, try turning the car on again and turning it off properly before attempting to forcefully yank the key out. I'd put a few squirts of lubricant like WD 40 in along side the key first to loosen those pins. If this don't work, I have no other ideas other ... Maybe it's not allowing the key to be removed, because it is out of alignment? Or, and I'm guessing on this, is there a switch in the tranny ...
