Key Entrapment in Ignition Unleashing the Captive

What year is your truck? I sound like the key is not turning all the way back to lock the shifter. You may have an issue within the steering ... With the engine off, shifter in park, your foot on the break, quickly press and release the shifter button a few times. Do this without shifting ...
