Bass-Driven Rear View Mirror A Journey of Sound and Vibration

Mirror makes a rattling sound caused by the subs, anyone know how to stop this? Don't mind if it shakes ... My rearview mirror rattles, my sun ... I'm guessing that where the ball touches the back of the mirror may make it so loose that the mirror wouldn't stay up? I'm getting a lot of ... Have you found a way to stop the rattle? I'm considering trying to pry the mirror open and put sound deadening in it. It probably has to do specifically with how the front glass is designed, coupled with the 6x9's in the front doors that can produce a decent amount of low ... I can confirm this as well. Bumps and music cause the mirror to vibrate. Also had this problem on my '11 Malibu LTZ. Problem seems to increase ... This is common with all vehicles, bass = vibration. Get a nice 12" sub and turn it up and watch what vibrates! :). mine vibrates, but that might be due to the 12" sub in the boot. :). LOW RIDER. Hubby said don't mess with it. Do us wives ever listen? He&* no. I had it replaced. Now the rearview mirror vibrates and it's driving me crazy. Thanks! The felt between the mirror mount and the windshield header cured the vibration. Also found out the "rattle" was coming from the reading ... Your shaking mirror is likely caused by resonating vibrations due to being in the wrong gear.
