Unleash the Bass Vibrating Rear Mirror for Audio Enthusiasts

I recently had this issue with my mirror and I don't even have a sub installed yet. I too, tighted the mounting screw and it fixed the shakiness ... There is a TSB for the outside rear view mirrors that are "loose/vibrate". Check with your dealer. Had the passenger one done and it is now now ... subs are making my rear view mirror to tilt downward from the vibrations.. any way to stop this? any kind of screw i can tighten or anything ... At speeds between 80-95mph, the rearview mirror image starts to vibrate such that the image appears to bounce and become blurry. You could experiment sticking a whole bunch of blutack onto the back to see if it damps the vibrations, then add a bit of mass more permanently. You can try taking the mirror apart and fixing whats loose but I have never had good luck with that approach. Always ended up getting a ...
