Does anyone know the color of the Reverse Light Wire on a 2023 Maverick by chance? Hooking up some reverse lights and was curious. The reverse light in order to hook up a back up camera as follow: In the tail light housing, brown wire is ground, live wire is black. i was hoping not to do it again. Save The gray/purple strip was the reverse light. It's pretty easy to tell by looking at it once you pull the lights off. The reverse light cable has a black and green wire - I tapped the green wire assuming the black is ground, but is that right? There is a blue/wht wire and a black wire going to the back up light. I assume the blue wire is the positive and black is the ground. Is that correct? The purpose of the purple wire is to activate the rear view camera when the car is in reverse. The pics I posted show you what it looked like ... The rear view camera has a tiny red wire to be connected to the Reverse Lamp Positive Lead wire. I took a picture of back lights wires. The electrical schematic show the neutral safety as "purple"--at neutral safety, and "LT-green" for reverse lights.
