Transmission Control Malfunction (P0705) Symptoms and Fixes

This code is caused by either a faulty sensor on the trans or by a mis-adjustment of the shifter cable. They said everything was good to go except they were now getting a 4 Lo light blinking, Traction off light and the Check Engine Light. TCM monitors the signal from the transmission range switch, and determines if the abnormal input is present or not. I have been struggling for days trying to figure out how to fix a P0705 code that popped up after installation of my door sills. It popped out a P0705 "Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction (PRNDL INPUT)" at me. I tried to reset with the reader and it won't stop the code, it just ... It has nothing to do with the torque converter. If it really is P0705 the problem is either a bad Transmission Range Sensor (<$100) or a bad ... This code is for the transmission sensors being out of whack...it seems it only happens with the 09 and up guys. Check your tranny fluid meter and fill a bit more if needed.
