Road Trip Game-Changer The Volkswagen Glovebox Cooler

There is a little rotary knob inside the Glove Box. Turn this so the hole is open. When the A/C is on, cool air is blown into the Glove Box. It uses the a/c to cool so no damp =) I use it all the time to keep drinks cool. So if you turn the heating on it will heat up your gloxebox too. had one on my old passat and if im honest i used it during the summer to keep drinks and snacks cool but that was about it. just dont store any ... works well, but not really that cold - had a rental Renault where it was like a fridge. We have a vent in our glove box which apparently can be used to keep beverages cold. I figured out how to turn it on and off (just twist the knob and the vent ... The glove box has a vent at the top which you open when you want to cool or warm up the glove box or leave it shut if you don't want to alter the temperature.
