Escape the Heat Wave Volkswagen's Glovebox Cooler to the Rescue

I used to have a VW Passat that a chilled air-vent into the glovebox - As per earler comments, I presume this is what was being alluded to..... The 'chilled glove box' is a rotating knob which opens or closes a slot in it that lets the air con blow through it. Don't get excited. It's shit. The glove box has a vent at the top which you open when you want to cool or warm up the glove box or leave it shut if you don't want to alter the temperature.
