Why is My Key Stuck? Unlocking the Enigma of Ignition Woes

Sounds like your ignition lock cylinder is failing. This isn't uncommon on the first gen and other keyed hondas and if you have a lot of keys on ... I get that. So apparently all they did was spray it with graphite (this is the common lubricant to use on any lock) and then wiggled my key out. Today I turned my car off and the key wouldn't get released from the ignition. It rotates in the core, goes from Lock to Acc to On to Start ... Most likely the steering wheel position or the shifter. Start by jiggling the steering wheel side to side while trying to remove it. My key gets stuck in the ignition and will only release when I pull the ignition switch fuse.
