Engine Whisperer Unmasking the P0300 Code

The check engine light came on which turned out to be a P0300 code (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected) The car runs fine. I keep throwing the P0300 code. It states random misfire and it is just that...random. The check engine light comes on but will go off after ... I've read it's pretty common with these trucks. Probably is crappy gas. Try 91 or 93 for a few fill ups and see if it throws a code again. It that has been throwing a p0300 random misfire code as well as the code for the o2 sensor after driver side cat. Truck idles yet any speed ... A P0300 OBD DTC code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder ... The code was "P0302" Cylinder 2 Misfire. The truck is now at the dealership. Im waiting to hear back from them to see what they find. I have a 2016 Versa Note with a P0300 code and running horrible. I replaced plugs, crank sensor, battery, made sure it had good fuel, replaced the intake ... The P0300 sets when it detects misfire which may be severe enough to damage the catalytic convertors. P0301-P0306 would indicate which cylinder(s) are ... It could be multiple things, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil, distributor - some new ones are crap, could even be bad connections, or problem with the fuel ...
