P0335 Troubleshooting and Repair Strategies for Optimal Vehicle Performance

The code is "Crankshaft position sensor circuit". Well the circuit involves more components than just the sensor. It also includes a 5V supply ... Repair harness wire between crankshaft position sensor connector B-105 (terminal No. 3) and ECM connector B-108 (terminal No. 8) because of open circuit. I'm seeing crankshaft sensors going bad is listed as a possible cause, as is the wiring to the crankshaft sensor? Any other thoughts or suggestions? The P0420 code is saying your two O2 sensors disagree beyond a preset range - so that could be a bad cat, a bad sensor or two, an exhaust leak or your voltage ... The only trouble code that it's pulling is P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction. I don't believe that I've ever replaced my crankshaft ... I have a "confirmed" P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor "A"circuit error and a "pending" P0336 Crankshaft Position Sensor "A"circuit Range/Performance error.
