Dethroning the P0304 Code A Step-by-Step Guide to Troubleshooting

P0304 is defined as “Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected”. It is an OBD-II Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) that indicates problems with your car's cylinder number 4. The PCM has determined that a misfire has occured in cylinder #4. First of all, #4 should be on middle driver side correct? What would you guys check first? Switch the ignition coil assembly between 4 & 6 and see if you then get a p0306. If so, change the ignition coil. I got a CEL with the P0304 code on cylinder 4.
