The problem is mainly due to the mirror being mounted to a arm off of the roof, creating a moment arm/cantilever effect. This is common with all vehicles, bass = vibration. Get a nice 12" sub and turn it up and watch what vibrates! :). Sounds like your rear view is in the "sweat" spot of the cab layout and your sub placement.
