Unlock Maximum Power Fuel Injector Cleaners for Enhanced Performance

One small can of Seafoam in the gas tank every other month or so. Cleans the fuel system and injectors just fine. No other additives at all. BG 44K is a popular one, but it's also 10-20x more expensive per treatment than the Lucas. Don't go crazy with it...a bottle every oil change is ... Seems like Seafoam and BG44 are the most recommended. You can get Seafoam anywhere Autozone, Advance, Walmart....cleans alot more than fuel ... I know that BG44K is considered to be the best cleaner for fuel injectors (presumably connecting the can to the fuel rail assembly). Look into Engine Med Rx. It's a Yamahalube proprietary additive specifically for getting rid of carbon in engines related to ethanol fuels. Not octane boost but fuel injector cleaner, complete fuel system cleaner, etc.. I have used a few different brands in the past like STP, Lucas, ... Bottom line - Fuel additives to clean the injectors is completely worthless as any modern top tier gasoline has that crap in it anyways. Techron is, in my opinion, one of the better fuel system cleaners. It is the only fuel system cleaner that was actually called out in Chrysler service ... If you use Top Tier fuels, you shouldn't need an additive IMO. Techron is great and I have used it in the past. I put 200k on my last car with a ...
